START
In the year 1953 another war had come to an end. A wave of veterans returned home to find their world had changed. Careers and families that were promised were nothing but hollow words. After riding the skies together, a group of seven men band together to create a new family. All coming from different walks of life, these men pooled their money together to open up their own motorcycle garage. From there, it was only a matter of time before the Devils Jesters were born.

Since they were brothers in the war, they remained brothers when it was finally concluded. They stood besides each other in the face of diversity and were best friends through thick and thin. The first chapter began in their hometown of St. Louis, but within twenty five years, they had chapters in the surrounding states, as well as Los Angeles, Houston, and Lexington. They wore the colors black and red with pride and their banners and hung in their clubhouses with their credo “Family First Forever” emblazoned on it.

Throughout the years, the club gained a reputation that was often an enigma. They were known for not only their venomous nature, but by their inclusivity. Even though they were welcomed with open arms, there were chapters made exclusively for women and LGBTQ. They accepted all ethnicities and religions. The only rule was to be loyal to each other and the only way out was in a body bag.

For half a century, the Devils Jesters reigned over St. Louis and the surrounding suburbs. It wasnt until 2011, that their reign was finally challenged. A club from Northern Chicago, which had been run out of their own territory by the ATF and DEA, migrated further north and settled in St. Louis. For the next seven years, what felt like a never ending battle waged on the streets of The River City. It all came to a head this year (2018) during the ROT biker rally, where a deadly fight broke out. In the end 2 Devils Jesters and 3 Heretics wound up in the morgue with toe tags.

Since then, it feels like a thundercloud has settled over St. Louis. Theres been rumors about another major altercation in the works, but no one outside of the club has any real ideas. Until then, the city remains in a state of civil unrest.

TIMELINE
1953
On October 30, 1953, after years of friendship, The Devils Jesters are born. The name was derived from the foolishness they felt after returning home to families and careers thatd moved on without them. They built a clubhouse on the same property as the garage and even began works on giant house, or “compound.” One which would house at Jester that ever needed it. Their credo, “Family First Forever” was painted on the side of the garage and hung on banners in the clubhouse. One of their members was a closeted homosexual, who came out to his brothers while they were still in the war. Therefore, they were one of the first clubs to defy expectations and allow not only LGBTQ members, but members of every ethnicity and religious following. This earns them plenty of side eyes from other 1%ers, but anyone stupid enough to bring it up them ends up with less teeth.

1954
The second chapter of the Devils Jesters begins in Kansas City, Missouri. Meanwhile, the Mother Chapter in St. Louis is slowly sinking its claws deeper and deeper into the city. Since they are all inclusive, they have members in every social and economic class. Which also means they have their fingers in all the pies across town.
1962
As their club grows, so does their influence. They now have the mayor, along with most of the city council members, in their pocket. This gives them freeroam to begin moving in arms and illegal drugs. The founding members now have families of their own and most of them own their own houses. The garage is the most profitable in town and thats before all the money thats laundered through it.
1967
As the summer of love is under way, the club is more powerful than ever. There is now six chapters in the state of Missouri, with another two in Illinois. With law enforcement and city council members on their payroll, their club continues its slow but steady expansion.
1970
The club is at it the top of its game. With a reputation of being one of the most violent motorcycle clubs in the south, they start to openly kill anyone who opposes them. They believed themselves to be untouchable. But you can only hide from Johnny Law for so long. And in the late fall of ‘70, the DEA and ATF were starting to close in.
1971
(Fall) With a tight enough case to put many of the members away for significant periods of time, the police and SWAT team raid the Devils Jesters clubhouse and compound. An array of guns, drugs, and other illegal material is seized and a slew of patches, including the President and Sergeant At Arms are arrested.

(Summer) The charges filed against the Devil’s Jesters were enough to send the President, S.A.A, and other members away for years. With the club in crisis, the garage remained open for business, but the clubhouse was forced to close its doors.
1974
The Vice President, along with the rest of the officers, vote to reopen the clubhouse, but to switch around the club’s persona. They would no longer be the bloodthirsty bikers they once were. Family friendly was now the name of the game and the clubhouse was converted into a restaurant called NAME HERE. One weekends they had karaoke or live music and during the week they were always hosting different types of events. Movie nights, craft time, bingo for seniors. You name it. And they began a volunteer service to help out the community.
1978
The club is award Volunteer of the Year by the St. Louis city council and their revamp is finally complete. When the first members get out of jail, they are welcomed back and given a place to stay at the compound until they land on their feet. From prison, the president is unhappy with the change of the club, but he can only bid his time until his release. SPRING 2005

For nearly thirty years, the Devils Jesters continued their family friendly existence. They didnt so much as jaywalk and the Vice President made sure everyone walked a strict line. However, many of the older members were growing tired of this Disney Channel lifestyle and were starting to conspire with the president, who would be released from prison the following year. They wanted to return to the old ways and would stop at nothing to have their club back the way it was.
2006
The President is released from prison and returns to find his club has went from murdering snitches to planting community gardens. He moves into the compound and begins putting a plan into motion which will not only unseat the Vice President, but remove him from the club completely.
2007
The plan is enacted and the Vice President is framed for second degree murder. With him out of the picture, the President begins to shift the focus of the clubs focus away from volunteering and family friendliness, back to illegal activity. It starts slowly, with some light identity theft and other white collar crimes. But it eventually moves to drugs and arms dealing, once again.
2008
(Fall) In retribution for their attack, The Jesters blow up The Heretics clubhouse, killing a sweetbutt and a prospect who were in the back knocking boots. An investigation is opened, but the evidence is sparse. However, The Heretics know it was The Jesters and their feud officially begins.

(Summer) A rival motorcycle club known as The Heretics from Northern Chicago moves into St. Louis and begins taking over the Jesters turf. The first attack is on the new clubhouse thats being built on an adjoining property with the restaurant. The Heretics set fire to the construction and nearly burn down the restaurant. The repairs are unimaginably costly and the Jesters are in a rage. The President commands all of the members to do nothing until a decision is made.
2010
After a series of episodes, the president is diagnosed with a rare genetic disease and his health begins to rapidly deteriorate. Six weeks later he’s dead. His son, who was already his VP and being groomed to take over the club, is sworn in as the new president and the sergeant at arms is sworn in as the VP.
2015
The next six years were a bloodbath. Whenever there was a public event in the city, it nearly always ended in bloodshed. But in the summer of 15, the first officer was murdered by a Heretic. While out on a run with a load of new automatic weapons, the road captain and his crew were robbed and when the captain fought back, he was shot several times in the chest. The rest of the crew were also injured. The Jesters sought revenge by attacking The Heretics while they did a run of their own, but instead of killing them, they paralyzed several members using a maul.
2018
After the last round of brawls, it was quiet for several years. The clubs existed in mild harmony, sticking to their own sides of the city. But peace wouldn’t last forever. During the The ROT (Republic of Texas) biker rally, a savage fight broke out. Two bystanders were sent to the hospital, while four Jesters and six Heretics were also severely injured and hospitalized. Since then, a feeling of dangerous unrest has settled over the city. Every day brings new dangers and although the Jesters are about to celebrate 65 years together, it feels like theyre just getting started.
